Clinical Nurse Specialist

Clinical nurse specialists (CNS) are registered nurses who are expertise in evidence-based nursing practice within a specialty area. The CNS specially focuses on population, individual, and type of care, type of problem or diagnostic systems. They provide leadership all over the nursing field as they are trained in various sectors of nursing educations. In some countries CNS is a qualification rather than being a post. There are three domains for clinical nurse specialist practice –patient, nursing personneland healthcare system.
